Edinburgh Intrnational Airport located in Edinburgh, Scotland, is the eighth largest airport in the UK. Also known as Turnhouse Airport it is located 8 miles (approximately 13 km) west of Edinburgh city centre. There are plans to expand the airport with this expansion expected to so increase its size to in excess of Glasgow Airport which is currently the largest in Scotland.
